JEFF KEATING founded Georgia-based DOGHOUSE PICTURES in 2002. During his first year Jeff
researched the true story of an Atlanta robbery following Muhammad Ali’s 1970 comeback victory
over Jerry Quarry. After extensive interviews and investigative journalism, he discovered a
hustler-turned-reverend thought to have been killed thirty-five years ago. Jeff optioned his
life story and wrote a screenplay called FIGHT NIGHT.
After two years pitching the script in Los Angeles and New York, local music mogul DALLAS
AUSTIN optioned the screenplay. Dallas, who produced the films DRUMLINE and ATL, re-optioned
Jeff’s script in 2006, and the movie is currently in development. CREATIVE LOAFING, an Atlanta
based newspaper, chronicled this accomplishment in the 2004 November issue. And in November of
2005, ATLANTA MAGAZINE published a feature article recounting an oral history of the fight and
the robbery.
Keating recently optioned the screenplay FREEDOM DREAMS, recounting a slave escape from the
1850’s based on the true-life story of William and Ellen Craft. Over the past four years Jeff
pitched these, and other projects in development,to HBO, Sony, Revelations, and Mosaic
Media Group.
This past summer, Jeff worked as a script consultant to the short film class at the ART
INSTITUTE OF ATLANTA and sat on the panel judging THE PERFECT PITCH during THE ATLANTA
FILM FESTIVAL for THE GEORGIA FILM, VIDEO AND MUSIC OFFICE. This spring he taught his second
workshop for IMAGE FILM AND VIDEO CENTER, Screenwriting 102. Jeff continues to use his talents
as a writer and producer, combined with his knack for finding compelling stories to share his passion
for film with people around the world.

and on DVD.
‘A’ CAMERA – DAVID BRUCKER
Director DAVID BRUCKNER plays with dark, visceral films that explore the complex choices people
make in extreme situations. For some reason, he adamantly prefers doing this to most other human
activities. He recently worked as writer, director, and editor on THE SIGNAL, a feature film that
premiered at SUNDANCE in January of 2007. David cut his teeth on television commercials and webisode
comedy as MEDIA VS MEDIA, his market production company (co-founded with Jeremiah Prescott), and
fueled Atlanta's underground indie film scene as a key player in the DAILIES project, the experimental
filmmaking workshop where THE SIGNAL was conceived.
Under the portfolio WASTELAND PICTURES, David has gone on to produce, write, direct, and edit dozens
of original short films, music videos, and film/theater experiments including the feature-length
postmodern adaptation of Freidrick Schiller's THE ROBBERS which premiered at PUSH PUSH THEATER in Fall
of 2005. Beyond just writer and director, David's work as cinematographer could be seen on big screens
across the country in last summer's PSYCHOPATHIASEXUALIS (Distributed by Kino International). David
is currently developing several new feature projects.
‘C’ CAMERA – JAMES TAYLOR
DIRECTOR’S GUILD OF AMERICA member JAMES ‘JD’ TAYLOR makes a living as one of the premiere
assistant directors in Atlanta with experience on hundreds of projects ranging from commercials to
features, documentaries, music videos and live/live-to-tape television shows. His understanding of all
departments and their responsibilities, as well as his director’s eye, makes him invaluable to any film
shoot. He is a comrade and asset to seasoned directors as well as a professor for first-timers.
In the past ten years JD combined all his set experience and ruthless study of different director’s
styles to establish his own body of work with 5 short films, 3 music videos, a television pilot and a
9 camera / 21 band live music event. His ruthless study of “reality in question” and how striking visuals
melding with diverse audio (especially music)can affect the psyche and emotional response of an audience
are a calling card to his work. While exploring these techniques, JD also supports the independent film
scene in Atlanta as a board member of DAILIES (an experimental filmmaking workshop that has produced
over a hundred shorts in the last five years) and as judge for the ATLANTA FILM FESTIVAL.
In 2002, THE ACCOUNTANT, a short film he assistant directed for writer/director/actor Ray McKinnon, won
an ACADEMY AWARD for best short film and in 2006 he was the assistant director on the psychological horror
film THE SIGNAL. Each act of the movie was written and directed by a different director, and the art of
juggling three personalities and directing styles during a tight 12 day shoot was the type of challenge
that JD loves. THE SIGNAL went on to premiere at the 2007 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL where all four
screenings in Park City sold out.
JD is currently working closely with DAILIES on their next round of short films, collaborating with the
POPfilms crowd on the marketing of their latest project, pitching various TV pilot ideas to TBS and looking
for that one great song for his next music video.

and creative projects. Recent sound work includes: THE ROBBERS and HEARTBREAK for PUSH PUSH THEATER,
as well as THE SIGNAL which premiers at THE 2007 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL. He is co-writer and co-producer
for the DAILIES projects DAVE VS JEREMIAH and CONTENTS UNDER PRESSURE.

others with events such as the Pan American Games, NCAAs, and Olympic Trials. Her first appearance in
syndicated television was in 2003 on an adventure reality show called THE NEVADA PASSAGE, followed by a
project with BBC America, titled ULTIMATE BLUNDERS. This led to her next major project, where she was a
principle in the recent feature release, THE GUARDIAN. As coast guard rescue swimmer, Airman Hyde, Megan
worked closely with director ANDY DAVIS, as well as actors ASHTON KUTCHER and KEVIN COSTNER.
Upon completion of this film Megan moved to Los Angeles to work on two more films entitled THIS CHRISTMAS
and STRANGE ANGELS. She has also become heavily involved with sports broadcasting and hosting, traveling
